90%Silver Walking Liberty HalfDollars
There are two US coin designs from the 20th century that remain venerated among collectors to this day. Augustus Saint-Gaudens Liberty design is one, and Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty image is the other. The two images debuted on circulation coins in the early 20th century and now anchor the American Eagle gold and silver coins from the US Mint bullion range. Today, 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars are available to you online from Dave&Co in $500 face value lots. 90%Silver Walking Liberty HalfDollars

Adolph A. Weinman designed the images featured on the Walking Liberty Half Dollars for the United States Mint. The image replaced the Barber Coinage design for the Half Dollar that had been in use since 1892 and featured a right-profile bust of Liberty. This full-figure design of Liberty was the second in the early 20th century behind Saint-Gaudens image of Liberty that was also a full-figure depiction rather than a portrait bust.
All of these 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars have 90% silver content and a balance of 10% copper. This combination of metals ensured a durable circulation coin. Included in this listing are coins with date marks from 1916 to 1947, with a total of 1,000 US Half Dollars included in the bag to make up the $500 face value.
Walking Liberty features on the obverse of all 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars. This design depicts Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. She carries the American flag over her shoulders with branches of oak and laurel in the left hand and her right hand reaching out for the bright warmth of a new day.
An American bald eagle is shown on the reverse of the 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars. In this design, the bald eagle is perched on a mountain top clutching a small sapling in its talons. The bird is preparing to rise from its mountaintop perch with its wings flexed behind its back.
